Pat Brown and Rocky Mullen of Green Shred step up to show their support of a local charity raising money for autism programs in the Tri Cities community.
Kennewick – FRIDAY, May 13th
It all started with a bid on a used Mustang.. Rocky Mullen, owner of Sahara Pizza, saw a promotion from the Responding to Autism Center on Facebook about bidding for a car donated by Action Auto Services. He didand he won it to use as a delivery car for only $3100. And his passion for the cause and positive momentum for the Carson Kolzig Foundation continues.
First it was about the car, then $100 for people to sign the puzzle pieces on the car, then every breadstick purchase during the last week of April to benefit the Carson Kolzig Foundation, but that wasn’t all. Rocky convinced his friend and business partner to do more.
So, Green Shred a mobile paper shredding company will be hosting a “FREE SHRED DAY” at the Kennewick Responding to Autism Center on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 11:00-4 pm.
Businesses or individuals can bring by a box (or a truckload) of items to be shredded. The shred is provided free of charge with a donation to the Carson Kolzig Foundation. All funds shall be used to pay for scholarships for the monthly autism screenings which take place at the center.
The public is invited to stop by with personal documents they wish to have destroyed. Green Shred mobile truck will be on location to securely accept and destroy your items on location.
